Two Technidyne employees attended the Providence High School STEM Careers Expo yesterday. Bill, Senior Engineer, and James, Service Manager, were among 30 vendors at the 4th Annual STEM Career Expo. Technidyne Corporation has participated in the Expo all 4 years, and also hosts tours, provides job shadowing opportunities and does presentations to help promote STEM careers in the local area.
Technidyne was among other companies like Raytheon and Cummins Engines to help high school students and a group of grade school students understand the variety of careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Bill and James had the ACA Systems RoQ (Roll Quality Analyzer) as an example of a device with electronic, mechanical, and software components. Also, they were able to explain the application and cost savings capability of this technology. They also had the Techpap 2D Formation Sensor as another example of how technology development assists our customers.
